WISE NET DIAL UP ACCOUNTS

WISE Net provides a variety of Internet access options. For dial up access with an email account and reliable connections via modem as a WISE Net customer you can nominate the plan suited to your intended Internet use and budget. If your hours online in the month exceed your nominated plan, the extra hours are charged to you at the plans additional hourly rate specified. Customers rate plan changes may be made by telephone or email prior to the start of a new calendar month.

With these accounts you nominate the plan suited to your intended Internet use and budget. If your hours online in the month exceed your plan, the extra hours are charged to you at the plans additional hourly rate specified above.

Customers rate plan changes may be made by telephone on 0508 4 ORCON(67266) or by emailing accounts@wise.net.nz prior to the start of a new calendar month.

WISE Net invoice monthly in arrears. Payment is due the 20th of the month. Having an overdue account may result in your account being suspended.

There is a $1 surcharge for posted invoices for our dialup plans. To avoid incurring a postal surcharge on these accounts you can elect to receive your invoice by email only.

How Do I Get Connected?

Installation of our software on your computer can be attended by us, free of charge, if you can drop your computer system box into the WISE Net office. This is usually completed as a same day service.

Alternatively, if you are a competent computer user, we can supply setup details by telephone or e-mail, or by providing our CD for your use. This service is also free of charge.

Or if you would prefer, WISE Net will arrange a suitable date and time for installation, and will call at your place to install and ensure your computer connects to the Internet. A standard charge of $50 plus GST applies for this service (Wairarapa customers only).

Promotional special "WISE-start" packages are sometimes available for new Internet users. Details of these promotional offers are advertised in the local newspaper and on this web site. Alternatively, details of any current promotions can be obtained by contacting the WISE office.

Features

WISE Net dial up clients have access to user resources such as tutorials, downloads, virus info and can check their usage and change their password online.

All dial-up users have use of their own unique username and password, e-mail address, and 5Mb of disk space on our server, for non-commercial web site home pages, including FTP access and up to 20 Mb per month free web traffic from your web site.

WISE Net makes it easy for you to get and stay online, with fewer busy signals and disconnects. WISE Net allows you to access the Web at dial-up speeds of up to 56 Kbps-the fastest dial-up connection available!
