Broadband is fast, always on Internet that does not interfere with your telephone line. Orcon sell, install and support a range of Broadband systems to cater for all needs and locations in New Zealand. These are:

Bitstream Broadband

Bitstream is Orcon's own DSL Broadband solution. It works over your existing copper wire phone line and is available throughout all main Towns and Citys, it also has wide rural availability. Bitstream plans start at just $19.95 per month for Residential and Business Connections.

Bitstream Broadband comes in a variety of speeds to suit needs and budgets. It is data rated meaning that plans have a data cap with options for additional data over this. Orcon's additional data charges are less than half of the large dominant ISP’s.

Satellite Broadband

Satellite Broadband is ideal for locations that cannot get Bitstream Access. It is the most expensive form of Broadband to set up but is an ideal solution for rural locations with no alternative. It is a two way satellite system, meaning that you get high speed both up and down and it does not use a phone line.

Fibre

UNS

UNS is fast becoming the preferred method of connectivity should Fibre access not be available to businesses. The service is based on the existing xDSL copper infrastructure with guaranteed levels of service. Speeds of up to 2 Mbit synchronous and support for multiple IP's are included. The service has been designed to support data, voice and video traffic.

Frame Relay

For years Frame Relay has been the indefatigable core of many networks throughout New Zealand. Fast, reliable, flexible, and with the largest network footprint in New Zealand, Frame Relay is a great solution for businesses that require dedicated connectivity from anywhere in the country.
